Description
The excursion includes a visit to the lava front which in 1992 threatened Zafferana Etnea closely and a beautiful walk among pines, brooms and the lava desert which will allow us to look out from the edge of the Valle del Bove and admire the Etna massif in its grandeur and majesty while enjoying a panorama that ranges from the central craters to the Ionian Sea. At the end of the route we will continue with a visit to a characteristic lava flow cave (equipped with a helmet and headlamp) and for the sweet tooth there will be a tasting of honey and typical Sicilian products.

Required equipment: Sneakers or trekking shoes (preferably), layered clothing, windproof jacket, water.
